Kelani Valley produces a thick robust tea with a strong flavour, which can be enhanced with a dash of milk. The tea gardens of this valley are located at an elevation of 200 to 300 metres above mean sea level in close proximity to the central hills of Ceylon Ceylon. The unique thick robust characteristic of the tea is a result of high rainfall and balmy temperature that prevails throughout the year. This valley comprises of our famed tea gardens Hallgolla, Kelani and Ederapola.
